Step 1: Prepare a liquid container and a tray, which are not provided in the kit.
Step 2: Install the clamps on both ends of the silicone tubes and keep them open.
Step 3: Prepare a sufficient amount of red liquid instead of blood in the liquid container.
Step 4: Fill up the 60ml syringe with the red liquid.
Step 5: Place the cooperator's 4 fingers through the elastic strap first, and then fasten the Velcro strap on the wrist.
Step 6: Connect the syringe to one of the 2 silicone tubes of the dorsal hand IV trainer.
Step 7: Inject the red liquid from the syringe into the silicone tube. Make sure the 2 clamps are open during the whole process.
Within seconds, the liquid will begin to come out from the other tube. Use a tray to collect the liquid coming out from the tube.
Step 8: Close the clamp closest to the end to stop the red fluid from coming out from the tube. Tip: DO NOT close up the other clamp nearest to the syringe.
Step 9: Lift up the syringe higher than the dorsal hand IV trainer to obtain enough pressure for blood flashback.
Step 10: Locate the tubes/simulated blood vessels inside the IV hand trainer, and practice venipuncture and IV injection.
