Ultrassist IV Insertion/Injection Training Pad with Simulated Dermatoglyph and Raised Veins
The Ultrassist IV injection training pad is a multipurpose injection pad. It can be used for practicing IV insertion or injection, and blood draw. Open vessels allow students or trainees to do a flashback to see if the needle is inserted successfully into the vein. Affordable and realistic injection pad for perfecting nursing skills.
Features:
1. Simulated skin texture
It is designed using advanced 3D modeling technology, made of soft silicone material with the texture of human skin. Both realistic skin texture and raised blood vessels simulate a realistic IV injection training environment, helping practitioners stay focused on IV tasks and practice.
2. Skin-like feel
The IV injection pad is made of high-quality, non-smelly soft silicone material, maximally approximating the feel of real skin. Also, the combination of the soft skin texture and veins, hoses that simulate the blood vessels, provides the same puncture and injection sensation that practitioners require to learn and master IV puncture techniques.
3. Realistic Simulation of IV Injection and Blood Draw
The skin pad can be easily used to simulate intravenous injection and a blood draw environment. You can practice again and again as you like.
4. Portability and Durability
The injection pad is palm-sized so that it can be carried easily anywhere. After injection practice, please flush the hose seriously with water and keep it in a dry and cool place, then you will find it more durable. So ideal for medical, nursing students, and even medical interns to practice IV injection or insertion and blood draw.
Specifications:
- Contents: a dermatoglyphic intravenous injection practice pad, 5 Robert water stop clips
- Net Weight: 180g
- Manufacturer: Ultrassist
Note: The water stop clips are used to seal the hoses on both sides of the injection training pad to form a closed environment. Dermatoglyphics and raised veins stimulate the blood vessels in the human body and realize the functions of simulating intravenous injection and blood drawing exercises.

How to Use
How-to GuideFAQs
Are the vein pads hard to penetrate even with a very small gauge needle, and leak out fluid in the areas that has been penetrated during the simulation?
Correctly penetrate accurately into the vein pad even with a tiny gauge needle, and the vein pad does not leak out fluid in the areas penetrated during simulation.
Can I use canola oil with food coloring as the liquid in the tubes?
It would depend on the chemical make up of the tubing, if it is a plastic, then canola oil would be a bad choice. Water with the food color would be a better choice.
How many times can this be reused without leaving large holes?
So far I did not see any wholes at all. Generally, with good care, it can withstand hundreds of punctures but no obvious hole.
Is there a blood flashback while practicing?
It is not hard to get simulated blood in the tubes, and it does give you a flash when you insert IV. Great for practicing.
How to clean and make it durable?
After use, it is recommended to wipe the dirty part with clean water. Replace simulated blood with clean water and use the circulatory system to flush the silicone tubing. Dry it and keep it in a dry and clean location, preferably in a dust-proof place.
