Ultrassist CPR Cube Set provides a realistic heart module and CPR instructions mat and is lightweight for taking anywhere for CPR training.
Step 1: Get the necessary CPR knowledge with CPR instructions mat.
If you or trainees haven’t learned CPR before, it is the top way to learn the CPR steps and hand position.
- Call for emergency or ask someone else to do.
- Lay the person on their back and open their airways.
- If they are not breathing, start CPR.
- Do 2 Rescue breaths about 1 second apart.
- 30 chest compressions.
30 compressions at 100-120 compressions per minute allow the chest to recoil between compressions immediately following with rescue breaths.
- Repeat 2 steps upon until medical assistance arrives.
Correct hand placement & position for chest compressions:
- Both hand: interlocked between nipples, press down 2 inches
- One hand: between nipples, press down 2 inches
- Two fingers: just below nipple line, press down 1.5 inches
Step 2: Practice Chest Compressions with Our CPR Cube Set
- Lay the instruction mat flat on a hard, flat surface, usually the floor.
- Put the heart-shaped CPR cube on the simulated heart position of the instruction mat.
- Kneel next to the mat(upper body image), making sure the upper body is in the proper position.
- Place the root of the palm of one hand on the heart module and fold the other hand over it.
- Keep fingers and thumbs apart and straight.
- Using straight arm strength, apply compression at a rate of at least 100-120 compressions per minute. The depth of compression should be at least 1/3 of the depth of the chest (about 2 inches).
Performing chest compressions is a crucial step in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), usually alternating between compressions and artificial respiration on a continuous basis, and is used to maintain circulation in the event of cardiac arrest.
