The top popular ear piercing types include Conch Piercing, Daith Piercing, Helix Piercing, Industrial Piercing, and Lob Piercing, etc.

➤ Conch Piercing

A conch piercing is a piercing of the outer part of the human ear, called the concha, for the insertion and wearing of jewelry. There are two types of conch piercing, inner conch piercing, and outer conch piercing, which have become popular among young women in recent decades as part of a trend for multiple ear piercings.

➤ Daith Piercing

With origins rooted in Jewish culture, a Daith piercing is an ear piercing through the innermost cartilage fold of the ear (the crus of the helix).

Daith piercing pain is a common worry. Still, it is generally accepted that a Daith piercing is slightly more painful than an earlobe piercing because it is in a harder area (cartilage) and you will always experience more resistance.

It's maybe a little more fiddly while actually installing the jewelry.

➤ Helix Piercing

The Helix piercing is a piercing of the helix, or upper ear cartilage, for the purpose of inserting and wearing a piece of jewelry.

A standard helical piercing is performed in the outer upper cartilage, but you can also perform forward, backward, double, or even triple helix piercings.

➤ Industrial Piercing

An industrial piercing, also known as a scaffolding piercing or construction piercing, requires two piercings to be made with a piercing needle since the piercings must be precisely aligned to be properly connected with a single piece of jewelry like barbell jewelry.

➤ Lobe Piercing

Lobe piercings are by far the most popular piercings among both men and women, and one of the oldest forms of body piercing. It is situated in the lower, soft fleshy region of the ear called the Lobule. Lope piercing is usually pierced in the center of the space.

Above piercings should always be done by a licensed professional with proper anatomical, procedural, and technical knowledge in a sterilized area.
